you need to spend any money you got in a good, very good lawyer who will fight your case with the DA and is willing to go to trial to fight for you. Be very wise. I think is extremely difficult to be hired with any drug related conviction.
Wish you the best of lucks.

the only reason you are a felon is because you didn't have enough money to hire the right attorney. The DA is a ########. They are not serving Justice, they are getting convictions no matter who's innocent and who's not.

Do you guys who are "ex felons" really believe the nonsense that you are spouting on here? You guys are delusional. It's always somebody else's fault, right? There's no such thing as a guilty convict.

Iam a felon i havent commited a crime since the day i got charged my felony is 6 years old already and still looking hard to find compaines that will hire me, but on my record it shows as deferred adjudication here in texas and had not issues with employers in the past getting hired and most have been pretty good jobs i have kept most of them employers i have talked to they see your background record to show if you have changed your life and better yourself out there in the world and repeating your offense again and again, i get alot of #### for what happen with me but i was young at the time and just did what i wanted and paid my debt to state and courts i never went to jail but had probation for 1 and half of year and trust me i learned from my mistake and just trying to better my life now.

You mus talk to a lawyer to have your record sealed. Its your right, because the charge, after you finished your probation period, was dismissed. Go to any church and ask if they have free legal advice.
    Good luck!
