When I was in orientation I asked about my map and was told follow the gps its great and works wonderful. Then I asked about trip planning and was told when I have an hour left find a place to stop. My training was short both me and 5he trainer were very sick. She was good though and id like to say that she was not after the money she actually had to tell the company like 10 times that we were not running team they are the ones that wanted her to do that. Other drivers iv met a few that will help right off the bat but I see a lot that dont even want to hold a dang conversation with you. Iv gotten more help from other companies drivers out here then ours. As far as being on time every load I pick up is late before I even get there its ridiculous. I met a driver in denver I was getting a load needed to be somewere in 2 days and he had a load that had like 4 days he had done a 32 cause he had to wait for load and I was out of time. They should have given him my load cause he had a fresh clock and given me his but nope. This adds to stress of new driver cause now on top of every thing else you are always feeling behind. And this company needs a note system. My dm never knows whats going on after the night or weekend. When I got that abs light fix he called me on monday and asked can you tell me why you have been down for 15 hours all I said was your kidding me right and started to laugh and he said no one told him. So I told him they need a better system. I dont know after my 90 days I may be out of a job because of my mouth lol

Not a emergency, don't bother calling the authorities, Find a mail man, Pizza place, UPS/FEDex driver. The true people of rattling door knobs and walking the front porch of every street. Not the Police or hose draggers.

i called the Minooka Ill cops just last week when i took a left instead of a right
and all of a sudden those nasty lil no under 5 ton truck signs were everywhere
one cruiser came told me to just back into a residential street and gave me location directions for my stop
he parked across the street as i backed up as I was doing that some kid walked by the cop recognized and
a foot chase commenced. leaving the cruiser in the way me blocking 2 roads and the neighbors all out looking around
15 minutes later there are 3 cruisers and the fact i called the cops first for help was lost and a different cop wanted to give me a ticket until i convinced him to call dispatch

krazyhorsechik you are right about dispatch When I trained I had to tell them that I couldn't do team miles and train proper at the same time and I did that many times.

Every big company I worked for had directions from other drivers that would help with getting there.

I try not to get involved with the police cause when I do they level I-III me but not bad advice.

I was given a level 1 once, by a deputy sheriff. Special circumstances tho were, he had been trained by DOT and I had been involved in a bad wreck. Managed to prevent the head on but she did get the trailer tandem. Knockednthem all out of whack!!!

ajacks, how is gamma? He hasn't been on the thread. Is everything going alright? How are you feeling? Are the allergies still bothering you?

jaso, have you decided what you are going to do? Stay with TransAm or move on?

He is still doing pretty darn good, I'm very proud of him. He is headed out of Waco for Oklahoma now. Thought he was never going to get out of Florida though lol.
