Abilene Motor Express. We run a shload of freight NE. I train new drivers up there as they finish their regular training. I average over 3000 up there and we have plenty of drivers who live up there. They go home under a load for hometime. Some every weekend...

Calex out of Pittston, PA runs a northeast fleet. They call it their local fleet, but it generally covers the area from Ohio to the coast and MD/VA up into New England. Last I knew, it was 40 cents per mile to run it.

Have you found it yet? There's quite a few offering between .38 - .42 / mile to start with a clean record... if you want to work in this region?
