lost my GUMBO load to KS.
LOAD OFFERING: DALLAS TO CHICAGO. OR DALLAS TO NASHVILLE
I took chicago drops on bothends. not much for country music anyways.
925 loaded 238 Mt
My load going to Houston after fuel i made 950.00 in revenue. Thats a total of 1904.00 in total revenue for this week and 2293mi. If my math is correct that comes to .83mi. after fuel. not including fuel rebates.
I already made payroll for the week so Dallas load to Chicago be early start for next week.

1ST LOAD OF NEW WEEK:
Made it to chicago this load delivers in the morning. Total miles 925 loaded 237 mt I spent 520.54 on fuel . load paid 1649.58 . so my revenue after fuel was 1129.04 for Monday. That enough revenue to cover all my fix cost on thislease. so everything i do this week after fuel cost is all take homekkiesznowski Thanks this. -
Still have this week to wait on orientation next week. Hope it doesn't drag out....
I've been following you and Jag -
It flys by . get ur rest relax and look forward to a new positive experience. If you like setting goals and like challenges . leasing is the way to go. Take notes with shippers recievers . parking in the neighborhood etc. it help you make certain load decision especially on weekends. orientation is a breeze. This is my first lease its a piece of cake i can do it anybody can. just manage ur expenses. time is money so watch how you spend it. Good luck .

So, i just got an offer of employment from ACT, i'm looking heavily into the lease program as that's what i did with my previous company (Central Refrigerated) Any advice from any of you current ACT Drivers? Or what should i expect during my 3 day orientation?
-
Pretty compressed 2.5 day orientation.... first you'll be on a newbie dispatcher/business leader board for three - four weeks...usually 30 days.
Question and listen for those 30 days... minimize home time for that month. Learn the company, loads/customers and the truck.
Best advice I can give you... don't think like a company driver - If you figure that out or if you already figured it out, you'll be fine and happy here.
How was Central? -
Central was alright until i became a Driver Trainer. Was out with my second student, was in the positive and had been having no issues for about two months. Turned in 6,000 miles between me and my student (Very good student btw) And they told me i didn't have a check. That was the third time it happened in my time at central. It was a good start in learning the trucking industry, but after Swift bought them out i believe things changed for the worse.
