Update? you ever get it fixed?
cetanediesel Thanks this. -
Unit was removed and whole new system installed. No problems so far. Looks to have been a bad install of the wiring.

the problem is that qualcomm uses datalink and CAN (j1939) of your truck. if wiring is short ore CAN tranciver chip inside quallcom fails datalink ore CAN is down and for example engine cant start becouse engine ECM got no data about tranny (is it in N position).
the last time I had similar problem with aftermarket GPS/FMS on Renault truck. they could not start it till I removed faulty unit -
any one have a MCP50 in a older tuck with a N14 cummins
if so dose it work right or is this just gana be a pain in my #####
working for CRST Malone and being forced in to a QUALCOMM cuss thay lose my logs all the time and is all my fault lol ( never the companies fault lol)
and side note am looking to get on with landstar and they require QUALCOMM for new hires
thanks for your time -
I just love how they couldn't communicate with the ECM, so they just start digging into it and pulling the injectors out. I mean, who cares if the ECM works, lets just change out injectors. I hope they didn't try to charge you for doing all this labor.
SGTSmokdU Thanks this. -
