Unless they decide to 'loan' your truck out to someone else because you took 3 days off after being out for a month. Make sure you don't leave anything expensive behind when you come home or you might not see it again... and no you will not be compensated for any missing personal articles resulting from the 'loan'. According to Knight the truck is their property so anything you leave in it is also theirs to dispose of as they see fit... Which makes perfect sense if you don't think about it. They did this to me twice in 8 months...

how is the carlise terminal to work out of and do u get alot of miles there
-
Talk about pulling teeth. Took constant harping on my DM to finally get my two days break down pay. Still haven't got them to reimburse the hotel room I had to pay for. I'll try one more time tomorrow to get it reimbursed then I'll just file an ADA claim against them. I have sleep apnea and use a cpap machine. Broke down truck that can't be idled when the batteries get low means no reasonable commendation.
seawind Thanks this. -
does knight trucks have invertors in them or anything else
-
They have 12v power outlets. Fall asleep with your TV on and your truck might not start in the morning. There are no creature comforts offered in Knight trucks except a tiny bed and a dome light.
Heat, they have bunk heaters. I have heard nothing regarding A/C other than idle the truck with a penalty attached.seawind Thanks this. -
does knight give you alot of miles a week or are they just blowing smoke
-
If that's all he did as a trainer, they are screwing him more than they screwed me and every other driver they lied to!!!
-
Knight does not just blow smoke, they blow toxic fumes!!! STAY AWAY FROM THE KNIGHT-MARE!!!!
DriverToBroker Thanks this. -
Correct.
They don't care about drivers at all. Since they charge low rates, they must feel compelled to cheat drivers out of money in order to increase their profit margin.
Knight still owes me about $960 in pay. They (and other companies) will do this a lot. If they screw you out of $1,000 or more, it's a felony. Under $1,000, no attorney is interested in helping you. Filing a report with the state of Arizona (or the state your terminal is in) does not help either. They go after the bigger claims, as I found out.
