This isn't the O/O section, so net is going to be roughly the same for different gross amounts...

Yes, you have a point there but to get to the decent nett pay, you've got to acquire a strong gross too. Its all relative. O/O should gross up to $240K in a very good year. But $200K is the mean average, but of course YMMV and its going to depend on what you are hauling.

Gross earnings as a company driver per year is the question. Everyone's net is going to be very different after per diem, child support, how much you sock away in a 401k, ect. O/O are welcome to post their gross revenue too here. How many O/O gross more that $160k?

My last 365 day period pay was $118,450. I am out 3 weeks and home 2 days. I am buying my first two trucks now and expect delivery on July 14. This will be my first experiences as an owner operator. I should make $250,000 off the two trucks. We will see.

If $51K is avg, that means some made $70K and some made $30K sop making between $50-70k is normal and with all pay increases I've heard and read about, that range should be no brainer, even for first year people to hit.

I make 800 to 1000 a week gross pulling end dump trailers for R J Tucking here out of Dayton OH. The terminal is 6 miles from my house, I'm home everyday, off on the weekends ... I haul scrap metals and alloys to steel manufacturers like AK Steel ... I usually drive 300 to 500 miles a day and get paid strictly by the load ... I would like a driving gig that pays 2000 a week but I have to give up some nice perks ... such as being home every evening and be able to drive back to the house in less that 10 minutes when I'm done for the day ...

Keep your debts low and money won't seem to be the biggest factor in your employment decision ...
