I am not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes. I have a 19 foot rollback that I have almost finished. I have very little into this truck. I don't have any huge payments or anything. I have a few salvage yards that I can haul for. My question is. I wouldn't mind finding extra work for the truck if the salvage yards get slow. How do you find out which companies will lease on a flatbed straight truck?

Better off working off the boards until you can acquire your own customers. Try hauling into the auctions such as CoPart. The bed is pretty short for some of the newer trucks and suv's though.
bcain Thanks this. -
I should have stated that my truck is an F800 with airbrakes. I am ok with the bed for now. I got the bed from a friend that is letting me pay him when I get some money made. I paid cash for the truck so no payment and it is clean. Recon cummins engine and recon trans. I have run a 19ft before and didn't have much trouble with the bigger pickups. I agree though that I wish it was a little longer. Just didn't want to go into much debt starting out. In the future, I plan on stepping up to a Tractor and step deck but for now, this will get me back into trucking. I used to own my own triaxle rolloff but circumstances forced me to sell it. I plan on doing some salvage work and like I said, I can haul for some salvage yards around me. I read on here somewhere that there was a guy making a living with a 9ft flatbed pickup. I would like to find similar work if I can. Any help is appreciated. Thanks cnsper for your advice.
