Will do Stan. I lied its a 42' trailer. It has a front position lift which allows it to get that fourth vehicle or 3rd SUV/pickup. Im not gonna say duallys are whats ruining our business but........

I see what everyone is saying. People want duallys because they are cheap. However, there are some who actually do things legally and don't haul cheap with duallys. A dually can also be better for certain markets like the north east. But yet this is a select few. The rest watched shipping wars and thought they could do this job.

The ones I get a kick out of are the ones who run out and buy a $50,000 dually and then realize after they've run it 3 years, if they make it that far, it might be worth $10,000 and is worn out, but they could of bought a single axle for $20,000, run it the same time and it's still worth about $15,000 and isn't worn out.

I got 9-10 miles to the gallon pulling my 2 car with my Ford and got 7-8 with the Pete, plus I had the sleeper, more fuel capacity and better brakes.

I truly believe shipping wars is the worst thing in the world for transport to hit tv. I bid on freight on uship all the time and compete with duallys all the time. I think people also wanna buy duallys because they believe they are kiling two birds with one stone. Personal vehicle and a work vehicle. I was actually was bidding against a guy with a dually for a CAT D5 dozer. He couldnt possibly legal the weight and had no insurance. Really?

How the hell does anyone think you can put anything but a tractor in front of a D5?? I've used a wedge and dually for a Kumatsu tracked small dozer, but it only weighed 9500. And friggin stupid uship doesn't care to make sure it's carriers are safe and follow the rules as long as they get their cut, and it's a fat darn cut too!

Oh yeah it is. 22% on average. And, if you mention it, the shut your profile down or suspend you. They want people to think they are all doing this for free and out of the goodness of their hearts. Why do you think the TV show "shipping wars" was started? To promote UShip. I know one of the carriers personally and trust me they got paid. How the hell do you think they can afford to deadhead all over the place to haul these cheap shipments? Its such a joke. Now ,because of that show I have customers demanding discounts and setting unrealistic time frames for deliveries. They get a rude awakening when I tell them this isnt TV land. Now everyone with a dually and a gooseneck or a wedge has a pipe dream of being a trucker and thinks they can compete with the big boys with minimal investment. Dually work great as hotshots and thats about it. UShip is a broker plain and simple

Broker without a bond, or FMCSA status. I wish the IRS would audit ##### and every single carrier that ever hauled for them. I have yet to have a customer ask for a discount because I was behind but if that day comes they got a rude awakening coming. I will pay for my own screw ups, but I'm not that idiot Jared and I don't give discounts. If my customer seems the kind to try that, I'll get the car off my trailer for inspection, but the keys only get swapped for payment or a signature. Go ahead and try to take food out of my kids mouth and see what happens....
