I wish every 21 year old with aspirations of making a living in the trucking industry would read this thread. This is becoming the rule as opposed to the exception in this business. You have a choice, either go to work for a mega-fleet and be treated like a parasite with a driver ID number or go to work for a mom and pop scam that doesn't have enough money to treat you right if they wanted to.

 

I have NEVER seen BASIC numbers like this outfit has. It is absolutely unbelievable that they are still operating! If you ever ask yourself "how big of a deal is it to get OOS when inspected"? Here is your answer, IT DOES NOT MATTER! These guys are proof. Why would anyone even want to work for a company with a 88% BASIC score? You people do check with FMCSA before applying at a company, right?
