That's what I heard. Most of the time it's just a quick pull back onto the pavement, the trailer isn't fubar like in this case.

 

Remember that turn off eastbound 10 to Thompson Rd to the Hook and the TA before they remodeled the intersection? Every night without fail, some truck would drop his trailer into that huge drainage ditch that ran in front of the Hook. Every night. Right side trailer wheels would drop and your landing gear would harpoon the street. Game over.

 

Makes me glad cameras seem to malfunction whenever I screw up.

Wooly, its good that we can still laugh at our selves. I messed up at the NC truck driving championships this week end. Did respectable , but stopped over a foot away from the dock ? Zeroed out that one. Did not have to worry about placing after that.

 

Kinda like the right turn into TA/flyJ Baytown Tx, before they fixed it.
after a hard rain, sit there and watch'em drop into the ditch one right after another.
tow trucks just setting there making money.

I feel for the driver!

 

It looks like if that many trucks are going off in the drink, someone should make the state, federal and place of business fix the turn, obviously it wasn't made for trucks, the drop off is note really that noticeable. Guess truckers should boycott going there maybe.
