No experience + no trainer = accident waiting to happen

Tonythetruckerdude Thanks this.

W/S training is no joke. If you are not ready, you do not get hired. I am glad I went that rout. If you are not confident you can handle this job, then go with a company that has ride along trainers.

Find a company that fits you. Now days all you need is 6 months to one year of OTR. If you don't want that then I'm sure NJ has local to choose from. Do research search on google and good luck

All you need to what?
There is no such thing as a M-F 9-5 trucking job unless you are running parts for O'Reilly in a Ford Ranger for $8 hr.
Local/regional trucking jobs are generally 12-15 hour days/ 6 or 7 days per week with multiple stops.
OTR is easier, especially if you are older.crazw Thanks this. -
You can't read or comprehend English? The OP said he wants home time every other weekend. OTR May be "easier" but he won't get home for a while due to training. I was trying to help the OP but since you know so much be my guest!
anyways get a year under your belt and go with NFI like Chinatown Sid. I looked on craigslist they want one year and the pay looks excellent for a local gig. Good luck. -
Look into TMC or Schneider intermodel if you're wanting home time often.

Maybe because trainerJames2013 got fired from Swift for running a stop sign, recording the act and posting it on Youtube.
