Also did it doing roll off dumpsters. $100 was the minimum, even if the box was moved 5 feet to adjacent new address ( new home contractors was notorious for this ) PITA to travel 25 miles to move a box 5-10 feet.

Friend who sells car had a good one. Sold and shipped out a car last week. Hauler picked the car up in NY for delivery to IN. This morning he gets a call from the driver, that he has a delivery for him. When he shows up, turns out he brought the car back. Got his paperwork discombobulated and misread things, the car he picked up on Friday, he misread the delivery info and brought it right back. No, he is not being reimbursed for the backtracking. Customer in IN. is not amused that his car will be 4 days late.

Lol, this happened to me a few weeks ago. Only I was the driver who went to pick up my load, only to fund the this location have my load to another driver of ours. So I had to waste time live loading. Well, I get to the consignee with THIS load only to see the guy who took my load in the dock already lol. He drove 500 mile outa way n didn't get paid a dime for it! Lol. He was pissed. I told him he should have looked at his bills better. Lol.

The last load I brought to El Paso was like that. It was bulk powdered milk being sold to a company based in Miami, FL and the shipping address was their Miami warehouse. But the load was resold to a Mexican food service company and the load was being transferred to a Mexican carrier through an El Paso customs broker.HorizonProduceCrystalG Thanks this.
