Does anyone have a burn blanket installed on the truck when hauling flammables? We didn't and if they work like they should I believe they should be mandatory like the fire extinguishers are. The way I believe they work is when a person is burned you open the package and cover the burn area. The blanket contains a soothing gel that's keeps contamination out and helps the sooth the pain. Even if it's not sterile it's better than nothing. Just trying to find if anyone had or has experience with this type of safety device?

They can run up to at least $300, but well worth it to me. See Water Jel Burn Blanket.

I looked up burn blanket and found a couple of sites online. It looks like for a 6' x 5' is around $179.00 and up.
One had a canister. They both have the gel and are used to help put out a fire also as in clothing on fire. Shelf life of the one in canister was 5-years.
