    Pulled up to the gate at Rite Aid in Tuscaloosa this morning. Went to check in, found out that my live unload just changed to a drop and hook (bonus!) aaaand.... my starter decides "screw this you're not allowed to have a good day". 4 hours and a pull start later I'm sitting at the International dealership waiting on the good folks at my home terminal to find me another truck since these turds won't even TOUCH my truck until Monday. Gotta love life on the road.

    I had an oil leak on the I 20 in Texas and the Navistar stealer in Midland told me 9 days to even open the hood.

    Ok I guess all is not lost... I'm in a decent hotel room on the company's dime for the night and I get a truck that's 3 years newer tomorrow. Sounds like a plan to me!

    I'm kinda in the same boat as K19...

    Been out five weeks, largely by choice. After picking up in Nogales, I head to KS...workings way east. But for now, the KC yard will be as far east as I get. Got an ar leak somewhere, and my air pressures will only build to 105 and 80 in my primary and secondary systems. 12 trucks ahead of me, three mechanics. So, home time will be pushed back snore day or two.But better safe than sorry.

    Last for weeks.... 3343, 3206, 2909, and this week was 2865, all running off recap. Saturday will be my first day off since I left home the last time, whenever that was.

    does the back up at the shop.....maybe have anything to do with...all truck b service can only be done at a crete shop...not a t/a or flying j...I dont see how crete shops...can now do a... b service ....on over 5000 trucks......without the drivers sitting waitng forever

    I made it to Vegas. My normal hotel, Wild Wild West wouldn't honor their CDL rate on a Friday. Which is normally $34/tax and all but tonight they're charging $124..haha So I'm at the Sunrise Inn :biggrin_25517: which is next to Mortons Truck Stop at exit 46. At least it ain't costen me nutten! I hit Grantsville tomorrow then into the shop at SLC. If I get out by Tuesday I will be doing good. Maybe I will see if they have an unassigned truck there I can just swap over to.

    For all you guys with prepass, what do you guys do whenever you receive conflicting signals such as when the weigh station says "Truck Must Exit" at the same time it also sends the green light to your prepass?

    Ive done both, bypassed and gone on in. Honestly, I go by my gut at the moment. Strange, I know...but what can I tell ya?

    One thing I take notice of is whether the sign is in constant mode. If it's just staying on "must exit" and I still get the green light, I'm more apt to go in. Either way, I've never had an issue with being chased down.
