Got the call today that I made the cut. I start with Superior in Augusta GA Monday 5/19 to fill out paperwork and meet my trainer and I'm told we'll be heading to Montreal Tues.
    4/30 CDL w/all endorsements
    5/1 Graduate Greenville Tech.
Week Off Spend time with Better Half and Polardog.
5/12 Interview, test drive and DOT exam/Drug test.
    5/14 Dexterity Test
Each and every contact with Superior has been, positive, friendly and pleasant.
I am fully aware that I am "Halfway to a Rookie", can't wait to start a new chapter in life.

    Thanks to;
All who post here and all the other threads. (Special shout out to Chinatown, wysrob and Extreme Fitness!!!).
Greenville Tech. and all the instructors, you were all tough but made me better for it, and all my classmates who helped keep me sane (well almost) . (Special shout out to Mr.'s Spearman and Chambers).

    Cheers,
    KPF

Welcome aboard. I did a Montreal last week, it's a good load. You do have a passport, right?

I wouldn't bother with FAST. I go to Canada fairly often and don't have any issues with just a passport.

    Howdy and thanks,
If you have not read all of wysrob's posts in the Superior Carriers forum do that first. He has been a wealth of info for me and others.
You will find that the best thing to do is contact the terminal manager closest to you (Lakeland FL if your in Orlando) and see what they require.
Work hard, study hard and be at the top of your class because they are selective. Also check to make sure the school you are going to is one that they hire directly from.

    Good Luck and Happy Trails,
    KPF

will do that thank you so much .the school am going to is mid florida tech and it is 8 weeks long ..one of the best in the area ..an instructor assured me that i should be fine being hired on with them as long as they hire new graduates cuz he is very confident that the school offers a top notch training.
again thank you very much i will check wysrob's posts as well.
