I guess I should buy stock in Kleenex, too? Y'know, so I can still look like a man when I'm crying because I tore up all the equipment? Where can I buy backing practice? I assume you are the only authorized retailer?
    Thanks for the response.
    Also, Rambo is a wussy.

If you have a smart phone, you already have a GPS. I don't trust a GPS so if my directions don't seem quite right, I'll pull my phone out and look at where I am so I can have a visual on what my written directions say. It will also give you truck stops and food and anything else you need and you won't have to go spend $400 on a separate GPS. Spend $50 on a nice atlas and use your phones maps as a backup.

The laptop will have to have an air card to use the internet or you will have to buy a wifi subscription from pilot/flying J, then one from Petro, and one from Loves, and one from TA, etc and those subscriptions are pretty expensive for a year so that seems like a waste.

A refrigerator is nice. Some can plug into a cig lighter and some need an inverter. If you want a TV, you will have to have an inverter so I would buy the inverter first. You don't have to have an antenna. There is a cable in the truck that plugs into the TV just make sure the TV has the digital converter built in.

Satellite radio is a must for me. I listen to all of my politics channels all day and SXM Octane and the comedy channels. Without that, I couldn't survive.

As far as the cameras go, since it is a company truck, you might want to check with the company and make sure it is ok. You would think that they wouldn't care because it could cover you (and the company) in case of an accident but some companies might have a problem with it.

I rate the GPS as the top of your list. They are not perfect but they are really nice. They also are portable and you never know when you will find yourself in another truck.

I have enjoyed reading this thread as people have very different taste in things. I have Sirrus XM but I don't use it. For me it was a waste of money. But that is just because I don't really enjoy the same music all the time. I find that I listen to fox on it and the ball games. Well he ll now that I think about it I am using it more then I knew.

If the truck is yours, any money spent on the truck is an investment. Making your time in the truck enjoyable will keep your attitude in the right place to make the most money.

Do not forget about your Mattress. I have a 4 inch topper that I added to the company truck. Nothing is a important as a good nights sleep.

You kids and your newfangled technology. I still use my Motorola Soft-Pak cell phone. Cell phones are like wines, the best ones come in a bag.

GPS on smartphones are made for 4 wheelers not 18 wheelers.
