Does the inverter work with anything else???

    It could be bad...but
I think it's too small to power the micro on initial start up,since you said it worked with the Cobra...
The cables look too small to me..
I only use 00 welding cable for wiring inverters.

the cobra I used it with was also a 1500watt inverter. never had any problems with the cobra. and why wld the ovp come on instead of the low voltage. and also I watched a video on youtube of the same inverter I have and it was powering microwave and fridge at same time so idk. puzzles me

and im using 4ga wires. I think that's whats recommended. welding cables not easy to find

don't think that would be the problem. as that 1500 watt invertor has a 3000 watt surge capability. his 700 watt micro probably only needs somewhere in the neighborhood of 1500 for that initial jump state.

go back to the previous post where condo stated that OVP means circuit overload. the microwave is drawing more then the invertor can put out. he also mentioned that the low voltate is where your batteries would be dead. not enough to power the invertor.
