I bought mine at a moving sale for $5 several years ago. I gave the King my push broom and kept the leaf blower!
That is something to keep in mind. Many drivers leave the industry within a six month time period. When the King first started driving I found several things at local sales that are a must have.....truck stop book, etc. etc. He used them the first year and gradually replaced them with his points as newer versions came out, then I had a set at home also.

The phone situation at TransAm has always been a problem. If I remember right, we just filled out the application and within a couple of days they called us.

I'm in Baldwin, FL waiting to unload tomorrow. I slept in the last two days. Hoping to run a few more days after I unload, but might get stuck going home early. But I've cleared my overhead for the week so it's not too bad.

Ahhh, Wolverines. What a Hades hole. Don't miss that place. My company has decided not to go there anymore, after we had a whole load stolen.

I am in Waynesville, Nc. for the night on my way back to the Olathe yard to return equipment. My next company Is getting to their yard and putting me through a special orientation(shut up Cranky) so I can get rolling by the weekend. I guess they figure with my old experience I do not have to sit through the whole orientation. Be bussed overnight then to orientation on Thursday and Friday. Sure I will be exhausted by the end of Thursday but can't wait to get rolling and do the west coast some more. Hope to be up in Oregon and Washington more. Ca. is a given.
Dispatch is tough to get a hold of sometimes and sometimes you get right through. Depends on when the newbies get together to mess stuff up, they seem to do it groups.
Be safe out there.HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
I 44 westbound lanes, accident blocking both lanes at mm 40 .....about a 3 miles back up so far. They are now routing everyone off at the Mt. Vernon exit.
