Yesterday I was driving through Boone, NC about 1:00pm Eastern and I saw a Maverick Day Cab deadheading on Highway 105 to who knows where. I didn't realize that Maverick had Day Cabs. Interesting. It was truck number 12711.

I noticed everytime I drive past their terminal in Arkansas, they have a whole lot of empty trucks parked out there...

The day cabs are used on several dedicated accounts arond the us. The trucks at the terminal are many times brand new tru ms that have just been prepared and are ready to go.
Truckermania Thanks this. -
I think all otr companies have at least a few daycabs. I've seen werner, covenant, central refrigerated, daycabs.

They have 2 dedicated accounts with Weyerhaeuser in NC. The one you saw came out of Elkin
JimTheHut and Truckermania Thank this. -
nc-rider are you still on the dedicated account? Is it the Concord one? Hubby just did a week there and now they are asking him to do another week. He said yes but wants back OTR. He gets more sleep. By the time he drives the 50 mins there and back even though he is home every night it's only long enough to eat and go right to bed.
