Recently started a new gig, after my first year holding a CDL. Insurance initially approved me (spotless record) and now is kicking me out. I have been driving for 3 weeks, and they have given me another week before they take me off.
Has anybody had experiences like that?
Can you recommend a company that requires one year experience as opposed to two?
Trucking company is in Jacksonville, FL. I am not sure what insurance company they are using.

Ok, sk, not sure how to take or answer that one. But found it allot more painless and easier to call them vs doing it on my own.

I do not know if you can do anything about getting insurance on a truck that you do not own. The company that your friend is dealing with probably has a 2 year minimum. Therefore you are going to have to work for a different company or he is going to have to find a different company. That is my belief.
There are other companies out there that hire new folks. You may have to work for them until you have the experience his insurance requires. -
Yes, obviously it has a two year experience requirement, which they decided to mention AFTER I was already approved by them and have driven for 3 weeks.
This friend of mine WILL switch to a different insurance company because they don't want to cover me and I figured I would ask here in the forum to help him with some information.
My question was if you knew companies that require one year experience.
