Nothing wrong if a driver is not great on a smart phone. Hell if I could I would go back to pagers and payphones. I don't post all my loads. Even had a customer ask me to not post any pictures on Facebook. Piss on facebook

A few recent loads.
This one I picked up in Pittsburgh at US Steel. Its some kind of hangers for a blast furnace bowl. This was 13.9 tall, went to US Steel in Gary Ind. Had to take alt route coming out of Pittsburgh as the load wasnt going to fit in the tunnels. What fun it is negotiating narrow streets taking hard left and right turns with a 53' trailer and a fairly unstable top heavy load. I gots skillz yo!
.
These I picked up in Kansas and went to Cody Wy. Last time I do these. Just when I thought they wouldnt stack any more they put 2 more on top. Had to strap the bottom just to keep the tops from toppling over. Paid good though,.. got $3.26 mi for these.
.
These I did coming out of Fla. I hear guys cry all the time. Nothing paying well coming out of Fla. I seem to be the exception then,.. I havent left Fla for under $2.25 since I went O/O. This load paid $2.70 mile and went to Front Royal, Va. Catch was that fuel/service truck was sitting up there at 14.4'. I let some air out of the tires and then yanked it down hard with my binders to get it down to 14' even. No permit,.. Fla scales didnt pull me in as I thought they might. I set my GPS to avoid anything under 14.4 and rest of the trip was drama free.

A simple W320 Komatsu loader. Easy peasy.

You can still make money hauling cheap freight.
Picked up a load of small coils that only paid $2 mi, then grabbed a partial 15 mi up the road. Commercial band saw on top deck. $1.60 mi, both going within 50 miles of each other. $3.60 mi to the truck.
.
This is just a freebie,.. my awe shucks moment. Saw some purty flowers and thought it would make a good shot.
Enjoy,..

And I hear you on that C16. I drove one once,.. I almost never downshifted. Torq and power to spare. I'm struggling to reduce fuel consumption with my C15. But no where near as thirsty as a C16. Guy I talked to was bragging about his C16 when I picked up crane pads. He said he averaged between 4 - 4.5 mpg. He didnt seem to mind. I cringed at the thought.

No the trailer does not have more wood, but the floor on Reitnouer trailer have like a grip feel floor, so when you drive anything on it it wont leave a mark or damage. On the Transcraft, we put old floor rugs to help it.
