If your business model wont suport it, you need to know that. you always want to factor in your personal expences when you make a business decision. unless your not the owner, personal expenses are why you run the business. If your morgage is 2000 a month, you dont want to take a truck payment that leaves you only making 2000 a month.

 

I have a good friend that hauls containers. He likes being home every night. He does $1500 /wk. Thing is, he's responsible for the tires on the container chassis. $505 a pop. And the roads are heating up. Factor that in to your figures.

 

next year that shaker will be worth 1/2 that, they do not hold their value and are a throw away truck from the big name outfits. Buy a KW or pete which will retain their value far longer.
