    Hello,

I have this awesome opportunity for a good paying mixer job, but I need my auto tranny restriction removed. Like anything with budget in mind I found a school called action driving school on flower st. In Los Angeles. Has anyone heard of them? Goods the bad? They told me they'll charge $250 for two hours of behind the wheel and dmv use age.

Looks like Action might just be a 4 wheeler training school only.

Glanced at the yellow pages and saw a school called United Truck & Car Driving School located in SoCal that looks legit.

    Good luck on your search.

not sure on the rules in CA, but why cant you rent a truck with a manual and take the test again at the DMV?
i dont see you needing to take a school again

Probably has something to do with that "auto tranny restriction".

A little off topic but if you are moving into a mixer after driving an 18 make sure you take corners slow (like hurrying through a yellow light turn or ramp) until you get use to it. They are very top heavy.
