I90 Illinois to be renamed Verizon Highway

I keep all my music on it so i sometimes have it in my hand to change music but that's infrequent, every forty minutes or so because i only listen to bands/artists that make albums worth listening to.

 

Still going on. At least I think so. I avoid that road so much, I'll take 88 to 39 if I am going to Rockford or Beloit from Chicago or 94 thru Milwaukee if I am going to Madison and beyond. The extra 15-20 minutes I lose at a steady highway speed is better than the stop and go traffic and crazy drivers in a two-lane trench that is reminiscent of the Star Wars' Death Star.

 

US 20 is a good alternate route for I-90 too and only adds a few minutes of commute time.

 

it's common practice to see women playing with their phones much much more then men.

when i was local working construction. you always saw women on their phone. not saying guys don't do it also. but it was a rare occasion.

one accident i actually witnessed. i was sitting in the right lane for a stop light. 2 kids were sitting in the middle lane. in my mirror there was a car coming fast from the 3rd lane. she went into the middle lane and SLAMMED the 2 kids. the boy driver was bleeding bad and had to be airlifted to hospital, his younger sister was scaired for her life. and the lady, was nice to admit she was talking on her phone.
