Net 50,000 and i still got $36,000 of it. This year its looking like ill net 56,000, and keep $45,000 of it. Beat that. Does it matter how much you make or how much you keep?
How much do you earn gross per year?

TAfool, Hardly, you're looking for some largely private information on this thread. Also, if one driver makes $200k/annual (a good, solid number) but is not good at keeping records, he might net $50-$75K/annual. Another OO earns $200K/annual, but he's sharp on taxes and expenses, maintenance, fuel and all the deductible line items, and does an annual net maybe twice that of Driver #1. One guy's buying a new truck, one guy is running a truck he paid off 3 years ago - see, you can't really make a judgement since every driver is different. Know this: OO truckers earn more than company jockeys. If they drive their miles, if they use their heads on loads. If they take care of their equipment. If they like freedom to choose loads, go home when they want, still earn enough dollars to enjoy life.
I am an OO, and I think gross is everything, TAfool. It's the starting number of how much you made each year. I hear you, but don't see it that way. Look at my signature, I mean it. -
It's just a thread no one had to answer. It's nice to compare what others are getting so you can see where you are in your career. This started as a company gross pay thread. Some O/Os added to the thread. There is a wide range of gross income to the truck that we are seeing from that group. If you only take in 160k a year and don't watch your numbers those appear to be the guys that go broke.
Again, just a thread

who do you drive For

It's a one upsmanship thread. Not to start anything but I have a hard time buying what some are claiming.

why? theres money in trucking, just not big bottomfeeder otr outfits. the nonunion garbage truck company around western new york starts out new hires at 18, going to 20 after a year, with ot after 40. and there is a lot of ot. its not hard to find a 60-65k a year job in trucking.
i work for us foods, and am still not to top rate, and made 60k last year, working 4 ays a week, home every night. other local jobs pay more. haul cars for jack cooper or cassens and with a few years in you could make 100k and be home a lot..... -
Guess he's been lazy lately.lol

Quick question why is us foods so dang slow at receiving I swear I hate going there.
