You won't have any problems at either place. The hotel in Charlotte is not the best, and it's not in the best area, but you should be able to easily find a load out of there. You will be done in Charlotte by lunch on Thursday or earlier, depends on the classroom instructor. Plus Dennis is funny. Green Bay has a nicer hotel and it's in a better area. But they will make you deadhead away from GB to get a load.
If you goto Charlotte you will get to meet your ICA. Be prepared for possible repairs on your truck and have the money to cover them.

Whats an ICA
independent contractor advocate ?
I heard people say DBL is it the same ? -
You say the motel is in a bad area is that freight wise or neighborhood wise?
I thought if you get a truck and you find something wrong with it they had it fixed. Or does the GB OC have a shop and Charlotte don't? -
DBL is the dispatcher for a company driver ICA and ICR is for IC. I may be incorrect but I think where you live determines where your home dispatch is. Maybe not but most of our class got Green Bay and a handful got Charlotte. So even in training they did not get to meet them in person.

Jar head has his own truck... the shop in green bay is a contracted shop. The shop in Charlotte is a company shop.popcorn169 Thanks this.
