Protecting yourselves-crime

the smart ones get a carry permit and keep some heat in the truck. it used to be illegal, but not anymore.

 

last time i checked it was illegal to have a firearm in a CMV

 

might want to check again if its been a while. i checked about 6 months ago on the usdot website and did a search on it. no results were displayed

 

maybe i was looking at something else, maybe its just different for each state but no regulations on a federal level???hmmm interesting though, im sure there are alot of companies out there also that don't want their drivers out there with pistols and what not....

 

Yea its the crossing the state line that creates the problem
Many states will not honor a permit from another state

Locking the doors is a big help.

 

i personally would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6. just my $.02
