A Salute to All the Veterans out there on Memorial Day.

Thank u and thank u for your service

 

Yeah, but, at the same time, it bothers me less that there are people for whom it's just "barbecue day" than the fact that those who beat the drum the hardest to send us off war were the ones who themselves were always too ########### to pick up a rifle and do what we did, then turn around and tell us military retirees didn't earn their retirement, yet these ########## in Congress somehow did, then they'll turn around and say, "Oh, yeah! We're all about the troops! USA! USA!", and then you'll have a bunch of dumb ############# who'll take all that at face value, and the cycle just continues.

But, nobody held a gun to our heads and forced us to sign the dotted line, so we gotta take that for what it's worth at the same time.

 

Returned the salute and a thank you to my brothers and sisters in arms. A special thanks to those who gave all.

 

FYI, as vet of desert storm,,,and the invasion of Iraq, and a tour of OIF III anytime you loose a Soldier,,you lose a piece of yourself. For every Soldier lost, there are many effected by his or her lost, Leaders, Family, Friends,,,,ect...SO I believe that Memorial Day ..in addition to honoring the lost,,should honor those that have lost comrades, friends, and family.
