Problem 1.
I have a 97 FLD Tri axle dump 12.7 S60 and the low water shutdown keeps coming on its full of coolant changed the sensor chased wiring found no signs of chaffing or pinched wires or copper cancer to stop the truck from shutting down while my driver is on the job I had it disabled in the computer till I can fix the problem.
Problem 2.
This winter I bought a 2004 FLD tractor with a rebuilt 14.0 s60 and the ABS light is on found the ECM for the ABS I press the ABS check switch and no codes come up the light on the dash gets twice as bright when I press the switch when I let it go it goes back to dim and that's it. I don't need to be put OOS because of the ABS light on
Any help on these problems would be greatly appreciated.

I was told by a DOT inspector that an ABS light is not an OOS violation. But they can give you a warning, which will affect your CSA score.

For your low coolant issue, I've found that most of the wiring problems are at the plug itself right at the sensor. Give each wire a good pull at the plug, if one or both pull out, replace the plug. Freightliner sells harness repair ends for this.
For you're ABS, it should give a flash code, even if there aren't any codes, you'll get a "No codes" flash code. What kind of ABS is it? -
I believe it is a wabco abs from what I have been reading is that it needs 3 power sources 1 battery and 2 from the ignition just don't know what pins need to find out here in Maine they are a pain in the ### if your ABS light is on if the cop wants too he could put me OOS because brakes are not working properly.

I had an ABS issue and it was found to be a loose or worn wheel bearing causing the issue. Go figure..

All that is good I did a complete rear rebuild over the weekend everything from axle seal to slack adjusters and everything between ABS light has been on since I bought the truck in March.

Well I got the 04 fixed last week had to replace the ABS ECU and main wiring harness as well as one control box under the fifth wheel all done by the dealer because they sold the truck to me with it on and on the bill of sale it did NOT say sold as is. I had the low water shutdown on the 97 deactivated in the computer for now till I can find the problem and fix it.
