2 Memphis 12's hit hard enough to shake a container on a chassis.
kona911 Thanks this. -
2 L7's in the closet and a huge amp feels like someone is kicking the back of my seat

I do mine own installs. Just so you know with most trucks having 3-4 batteries a capacitor is point less. I have 12 pushed by about 700 watts in my personal car and with that I need another battery. I use to run a capacitor (about 600watts total) in my old car and it was pointless. Now they do have what they call ultra caps. Which are supposedly better than normal caps but you have 3-4 batteries to draw from. As long as power is 1000 and under you should be fine.
You can easily hook a amp in the truck just look high level input box that converts signal to a rca jack. you just have to tap into speakers that already are there. -
I know I didn't need one but I have HID's and LED's and I have a 5000 watt amp pushing 2,000 watts. I don't want to strain my batteries or alternator.

He's not looking to go crazy with a bunch of subs and such. He just wants to replace the stock speakers.
Replacing the speakers are one of the best ways to better sound. I've been looking at the Infinity Kappa 4x6 plate speakers to replace the stock onesin my truck. If you can find the proper connectors, it could be just a simple job to change the old speakers out and put new ones in. After some searching, I actually found the stock speaker connectors for my truck.
That way, you can put the old ones back if you change trucks or decide to leave. -
Those are baby speakers!
Check out MTX jackhammers! Need an engine hoist to install those mothers!! -
And the only way to get clear bass is subwoofers. Yeah you might think you get bass with regular speakers but it sounds bad and distorted half way turned up.Shin Dig Thanks this.
