My first day of training is on Monday. Not sure when my first hitch starts but I'm trying to figure out what to bring myself.

Just go on one of the mega carrier sites like Schneider and look around. They all seem to have lists of what you need to bring to their training classes. There also a thread in the new drivers section that tells you what to pack.
I'm sure that what you would need for frac school and what you would need for orientation/OTR training is pretty much the same.Patrickm213 Thanks this. -

I will be coming home at the end of the day during training and I am sure I will get more information there but just want to be prepared in advance so I don't need to rush out and get stuff the day before I start the hitch

Ya man I buy sandwich/canned food quick cook food because sometimes ur out in the field for a while. Stay away from microwave stuff. Especially after working 2 days straight last thing u want to do is sit there and cook some food.

nah man been trying to get it...turned down an interview with schlumberger back in march for cementing...bad idea..lol...still looking around..i know big red is holding a job fair in floresville,tx soon but i dont know...

Ya man the company I'm with is pretty good. Decent pay pretty good benefits and a lot of work we just finished rigging up waitin for the rig hands to finish their deal. Ya man I know the feeling of getting shot down where r u from? U should look for work out in the Odessa/Midland area got a lot of work for CDL people
