The rule of thumb I go by is if youre half way through a 15 minute period, round it up, if youre less than halfway through a 15 minute period, round it down and your hours on paper should pretty much match what your elog is saying.
How do I log this correctly?

The way Edmund said do it might work. I guess it just depends on the D.O.T. Officer who checks you on your paper? If you've always got a 10 hour break between the two, that would probably work.

When husband was at CRE and elogs went down a couple of times, paper logs were used and according to logs it was hard to get the elogs and paper logs married together, I don't know if this true everywhere or not. And of course the paper log has to be mailed in then also.
Do not throw away your copy of the paper log since it will still have to be available if you are stopped.cjwatson1972 and 70s_driver Thank this. -
Yea you probably wont be able to match the two completely. I think if you get them as close as you can, they probably wont say anything.
pattyj, NavigatorWife and cjwatson1972 Thank this. -
