I did a chat with them and they said they don't get very many KWs, but they would be getting in more Petes soon.

 

Skateboardman could you pm me. I got a couple of question's for you.

 

they just said they inspect and fix. but i don't put 2 cents into it. course, i've been around the block and know how dealers operate.
they have a shop in the same building behind the office. pretty big shop too. so i'm guessing they also do public work.

i didn't do toooooo much conversing as i only stopped in to window shop some of the junk they had. as i had made a pit stop at their yard couple weeks earlier and seen that they also have older trucks., but when i inquired, it was mentioned that the older trucks aren't for wholesale. they are listed on a websight they have. with link to place bids on ebay.

the pricing was low enough. but i wouldn't have offered mored then $500. maybe $1000 tops. not bad shape. but would have required close to 10G in repairs at least before they were ready for work. AFTER you paid their asking price of 5G or better on ebay. everyone one of them needed tires for start. most needed brakes and drums. one had all 4 drums chewed up.

so, after INSPECTING, and KICKING THE TIRES. i decided a test drive wasn't necessary. i WASN'T going to purchase.

 

Is what what they have on their site all they have? I can't really go check the actual locations yet so I'm buying from a distance. I could probably call them too. Those 389s aren't too bad but I'd want a little more HP from them. Skateboard do you know if they have anything against modding the engines and such? Or would chipping it work? I also haven't seen any kws other than automatic 660s.

 

You have to check their "Live Inventory" on the site. All of the trucks that have "reserved" have the full down payment made on them and are waiting for the buyer to show up and check the truck to make sure they want it. That is what LM told me in the chat I did with them yesterday.

They said they have more used Petes coming soon, but all the ones they have right now are reserved as well as the KWs. Which is OK with me for now, I am not in the market yet, but just checking out options.

 

Yeah I have a couple months, I'd just like to see a couple more higher horsepower 13 speeds in there. Thank you for that though. I'll check it out.

 

The horsepower was a turn off for me as well. Just have to see what they get in later.

 

They sell used fleet trucks that they can buy 20-100 at a time. The new trucks they sell are spec'ed like decent fleet trucks. You aren't going to see any large cars there.

 

I figured as much.
