I think during the years the King was there he was a day late getting home twice. It wasn't TransAm's fault .....he got stuck waiting on the cows to die. Three times he had trouble getting home time approved. One year at Thanksgiving he was held out an extra week, the first May that he worked for TA, and Christmas the year before last was a mess. We learned to always request home time immediately when he came back on duty and we were usually able to get it approved and to take the month of May and Thanksgiving and Christmas in stride. So altogether 5 times having an issue with home time really wasn't too bad, the rest of the time he was parked in the driveway when he was supposed to be. That is one thing about the many swaps that TransAm will do ....granted many of them are simply on time delivery issues.....but many of them are to get a driver home to his family.

For the momma bear and the pins, gamma is heading through Nebraska and will be at the Tyson in Dakota City later, think he is parking in Sioux City though.

So far, I'm 4 hrs past, of when I was supposed to leave. Office people said to run it legal, once it finally shows up. Having a problem deciding tho, whether they meant legal, or legal (wink, wink). lol

Only so much napping one can do, before it just makes you more tired!!!!!

Sitting here in Belle Plaine Service Plaza. Have to wait until after midnight to get some more hours back. Accepted a load from National Beef in Dodge City Kansas going to Greensboro NC, Black Mountain, and Mauldin SC just outside of Greenville. Hope I have enough hours on recap to get it done and ontime. I know last Sunday I had good hours, Monday was Memorial Day and drove from Lee Florida, to Fort Pierce and stopped short fearing no place to park down south (but then discovered Pompano Beach Service plaza on the Fla. Tpke) so not too many hours driving there 4-5. Last Tuesday was the 10 hour debacle at the receiver in Pomp Beach and drove 4-5 hours mainly looking for a good place to park. Wednesday dropped my last two stops in three hours and then drove to Auburndale, 7-8 hours driving there. Thursday and Friday, big driving hours there making my way to Oklahoma and this morning less than 7 hours of which I used six. Sorry if I bored you, but this trip here is worth 1500. I cautioned dispatch, but told them I would go get the load. I WANT THIS TRIP!! Dispatch did not advise me. Hope this works out. Loving TA so far, its good. I'm giving them everything I got. EXCEPT THE LEASE. I WANNA KEEP LOVING IT!!. Sorry for the lengthy scribe. Can't help myself. I certainly will take any advice here. Deuces. By the way Deuce is a nickname given to me by Big Brin from Abilene. It pertains to my super regular bodily functions. Was thinking about a camping toilet for the truck especially when Jungho comes along. Eeeewwwww! Laugh for today. Tomorrow is NEVER promised.

ok double poop your treq unit should show you how many hours you have in the next few days to get there
Trans Am dispatches loads based on 53 mph if they gave you the load the already figured you can make on time delivery or are planning a swap

Yes, I have confirmed that I can run the load legally and safely. Thanks to Cranky Yankee and my former trainer, still my mentor and good friend, Johnboy with Abilene. I am truly blessed.
