If he's company, yes. Company gets payed for both DH and loaded miles.

Lease, probably. Juice loads from FL are inherently, or notoriously cheap. Unless there was some desperate reason that the driver needed to get routed to Riverside, or someplace along the route, I would guess sales kicked in some $ to entice him to DH from that distance

I was a rider, but I spent more time underway than most permanent party guys. A spook's life is never easy and often boring.

 

I did a 900 mile DH for this load and didn't get squat for it.

Found out they lost my records of upgrading, so sounds like I'm going to have to upgrade again. Oh, joy! Guess 3/4 months AFTER getting out on my own is good time to find out!

Normally not bothered by much, but this one is costing me $$ in downtime through no fault of my own. Oh well..... just have to roll with it, I guess. Just kind of pissed.
