Roehl Driver Check In Continued

Roehl counts on it being 15 mins in and out on a d/h. So it set me back. OK, so Roehl doesn't, i just like arriving super early to con's. So it pisses me off, to wait 3.5 hours just to check in to shipper.
Not the worst iI've had though. Mondeleze south of Chicago took 11 hours last time I was there. 9 hours detention. Then I had to take a 10 hour right after. Unfit to drive.

 

Made it home going to grill some meat and hangout at the pool. And of course drink some COLD BEER!!!

 

I am sitting in Ohio on US-33. Not much to choose from for places to shut down out here. At a little sonoco truckstop outside of Columbus. Debating on wether to sleep in or hit the road at 0200 and have all day Sunday off. Deliver in Grand Rapids Monday.

 

Safety tip of the day: Remember to set the brakes when you get to go for a walk. (Turns out we should have sent this one last night)

 

Where did the unleashed truck go?

 

Right into the truck about 25 feet in front of it. Picked up some decent speed, driver had to be put in a different truck.

 

At Gary for the night deliver in waupaca wi tomorrow night. Had to do laundry and a shower before bed. Hopefully they get my check engine light off and find my air leak

 

Some drivers just need an automatic.

 

Were switching, everything new is an automatic.
