I'm partial to big tex, they build them pretty good from what I've seen and the punishment mines had. And if I remember your in LA correct? The guys at the big tex in jeanerrett down south are great. I've also heard Gator trailers are pretty good. Seen a lot of those and PJs in southern LA.

I had that same dilemma The PJ cost a bit more but has the outer rail as a tube instead of a channel. The neck height is a little higher according to drawings on the load trail which gives me a better bed to rail clearance on the Dodge which is tall. The warranty with the Load Trail is nice as you get 2 years roadside assistance which also covers the tow vehicle. With the Load Trail the air ride suspension is adjustable so you can true the axles (Align) if needed. It also allows you to unbolt a u bolt to change one out if you happen to damage an axle or spindle where the PJ axle is welded into the air ride cradle. The PJ does have the Tag Axle option with the air ride where Load Trail says they a re working on it but not out yet. I may attempt to engineer my own.

My decision came down to cost and the fact that The Trailer dealer down in TX , which is about a mile or less from the factory I am told, were great to work with and had one IN STOCK. I should have it late this week so any questions I can maybe answer more.

I am buying a 35+5 gooseneck. I have a F450. Will I be ok on the lenght as far as combined. Also trailer is 24.9k GVWR. Pretty sure my 450 is 13000 GVWR and 33000 GCWR. Trailer weights 10500 and truck is 8500 I think I'd have I double check. What numbers will I be able to haul. Going to get my CDL A in the next month.
