Will a cummins egr cooler part number 2881725NX work inplace of part #4089380

    Will a cummins ISM egr cooler part number 2881725NX work in place of cummins part number 4089380. The 2881725 egr cooler I believe is for a new DPF engine where the EGR cooler I have in now is non DPF. MY engine serial number is 35152420 is and out of a 2006 Kenworth T800

    You do know the cooler you need is on the web for right at ( or less)than a grand, correct? The EGR valve is under 700 too.

    Just saying boss.....course if you have a free one........

    Call Cummins and ask him to cross the numbers.....

    And let me know too, have same engine......

    the numbers don't cross to each other, I would say don't use it even if it did fit. the original # changes up to 4309506NX

    EGR coolers for DPF engines are totally different than non DPF engines.
