If the company your with now is letting you drive once a week and you are confident in your skills. Why not just use there truck and take your test ASAP. Once you have your license it will open the door to many other companys or at the least you wont be tied to a company like England to repay cdl training if you become unhappy.
Which company has better training? C.R. England, or knight?

Cause I don't know my verbal air brakes, and I'm not quite sure how to alley dock, but if I can do a 100% parallel, alley docking shouldn't be a problem
Not to mention the truck this place has rattles like it's gonna fall apart, the city horn doesn't work, and it has a little air leak, none of which my company or the dealer we take it to will fix -
The town I live in (midland tx) has a cdl school at the community college here
Only problem with that is I don't have $4,100 to drop at once -
WIA (workforce investment act) if you're eligible.

I didn't even know about that, don't know if I'd be eligible or not, as I work full time now, and make about $25,000-$30,000 a year (I'm only 22)

So call your local office and let them figure out if you're eligible.Moving Forward Thanks this.
