but i drove a VN670 for a little over a year.
They SUCK
no room on the cab or the sleeper.
cheap plastic interior.
noisy interior
worst jake brakes EVER
drank a quart of radiator fluid a week (from brand new)
drank all kinds of oil
air bags deflate on their own when shut off
gauges all computer like and only 3 gauge readings could be seen at once
rode like a bag of wet hammers
lights and fog lights always blowing bulbs
replaced 17 fuses in 14 months (blown)
clutches made of rubber
air bag suspension went out TWICE on me "
got around 6.4 MPG Average, until a B service was done and computer "flash " was done...we never saw above 5.8 MPG again
this was on a 2008 Volvo also, i got it with 120 miles on it. We drove it till it had 240,000 on it as company drivers before we went owner operator
I could go on all night...VOLVO SUCKS
Now a Kenworth...thats my kinda Caddy...the exact opposite of a Volvo![]()

you may have saved some coin...but wait until that transmission messes up on you and you have to pay for those parts to fix it! Ouch!

If the electronics go before 500k it is warrantied. After 500k I will pull the electronics top and insert a top loader stick, add the clutch linkage and I have a 10spd OD as worse case scenario. I am not 100% convinced I need anymore power but from what I have seen with it as it was run before, the prior owner was getting 6.2 running 70 or so. If I could bump the power say 25 to 50 ponies and get that number into the 7's at 65 I would be ecstatic. I may be able to get that now or close to it and decide to do nothing, right now I am trying to educate myself with possible options etc.

Cowboy i bet that C15 is set to 475, if dealer says it can go 550 then u must have a 1850 series trans in it. I would go for it, just make sure they pay for it.

Couple months ago I had a test drive Volvo 780 with I-shift.This tranny definitely best on the market,feelings like driving a big SUV.I love my 18 speed,but next one would be I-shift on VT880.
