Any decent IL companies that hire drivers with a less than perfect record?

Any suggestions for some decent companies to apply to that hire out of Illinois for dry van/reefer OTR or Regional that will take someone with a less than perfect record? I have a few incidents on my record (minor body damage only) and am having a hard time getting hired on. Believe me, I know I have screwed up and that it would be difficult to get rehired so the lectures are not necessary but some suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help you could give.

Have you tried Knight or Prime ? Starter companies are usually easier ! Explaining a little about what happened might help . Howmany & what damage was caused & by whom ?

Short answer: Doesn't really matter what the circumstances are. The prospective employers just look at the number and CSA score and say no.

Long answer: Really crappy training company. 1 caused by trainer but on my record. 2 of my own. those were from 18 months ago.
3 recently- 1 from 1st winter driving and 2 from fatigue on the same day after my dm insisted i continue driving. forced dispatch. This is not to excuse any of them. They are all my responsibility for not standing up to my dispatcher when i should have.

What's a few incidents? Because that matters. And are they considered incidents or accidents?

That depends on who you talk to. I have been asking that same question for months. Everyone I ask gives me a different answer.

But they are yours. You should know what's on your DAC/ISIS. And that's where it matters. You can get a copy of it free by simply requesting it.

Yes I have done that and they are on my DAC but it doesn't say if they are accidents or incidents, just if they are reportable or not. They are all non-reportable.

Sounds like your best bet is to go the European 10-99 route out of the Chicago area.... 3 "incidents" in less than 2 years is a lil much, not sure if any credible company would even look at you. Try looking on craigslist

These all sound like incidents, unless you backed into a truck somewhere. Without knowing everything, it's hard to give any solid advice.
