Well let me finish my degree and I will be trying to get my name on the ballot.

 

I'd love to vote for someone that has not been staring at me from CSPAN for 30 years. I'm soooo sick of the same people over and over, and now running "because it's their turn"

 

Actually, all you would need is enough money to run ads 24/7 for about 6 months.

The last couple of elections have made me sick, asking the same question of the candidates; "What are their qualifications?"

It would take a 24/7 media blitz to educate the American public, that the ONLY qualifications/requirements for President. You must be a natural born citizen and at least 35 years old.

Ha! If you want to experience the real "elitism" of American Politics, just let a real dyed-in-the-wool Blue Collar Worker run a national campaign for the presidency. Everyone from the local dog catcher on up the chain will immediately lambaste the BCW as "inexperienced and unqualified."

Important political offices are only to be filled by politicians. No others need apply.
