Wow that's just sad.......

 

I have a hard time accepting your statement that he was one of finest trucking businessmen in New Jersey. A fine business man doesn't take on investors that eventually bankrupt a company, twice I might add. He was desperate to keep these companies afloat, when the money ran out he was left with nothing.

 

As far as I know it was Yellow who pushed him out from Jevic. And he left with 200 mil ( or so I was told)

 

If that's the case I hope he was smart enough to hide some of or all of that money before he files bankruptcy.

 

Funny they called me about two weeks ago asking me to work for them dont even know how they got my number of course i said no thanks.

 

I'm over here in Colton California picking up my load and there's an NCT here. If these rumors are true, I hope that this load gets across the country before the fuel cards are shut off.

 

Jevic at one time was a very good company to work for..

 

I'm just curious, how can a company, like Jevic and NCT, whom I've heard payed very well, top of the pays scale for an OTR company, have all this freight sowed up, be run into the ground, not once, but twice by the same individual? I just hope the next time he gets a wild hair to open another business it will be the farthest thing from trucking, maybe garnering the corner of the cotton candy market at all the state fairs across the country. Not to kick someone while they're down, but come on, 0-2 in the last 10 years ought to tell you something.

 

Good question my guess is he let other people control the companies which ran them into the ground shame cause at one time jevic was one of the best companies to work for around philly.
