Return to ACT (American Central Transport)

I got my Excelsior Springs load delivered and received a 2 load offering. .St Jo to Lexington Tn..or KC to Nebraska (222 miles).

I took the Lexington load. (It's my favorite load to run) It's usually heavy but a very relaxing drive. 578 miles

I delivered the Lexington load and while enroute I received a pre plan. Drop hook in Olive Branch MS (pick up Saturday morning and deliver before Saturday midnight) drop hook in Pauls Valley OK. 110 empty miles, 490 loaded. (3, 000 lbs)

So after Saturday's delivery I'll have just a shade over 3, 000 miles And 2 days left to run in pay period. (Hoping for a Lawton to KC run for Monday morning delivery)

I'm still averaging 7.0mpg.. last week I took 3 days off. .I had 1, 900 miles and my net pay was $745.00

Made it to Paul's Valley and did my drop hook. . When I arrived at the shipper this morning I received a pre plan. .I didn't get the Lawton load. .

I received a preplan for Ardmore OK to KCMO.. drop hook both ends and deliver asap.

With that load delivering tomorrow/Sunday. . I'll end the pay period with 3, 621 miles. . Strange thing is. .I still have 15 hours remaining on my 70. Not bad for electronic logs.

I'm at the hook in Ardmore. . Took a shower and eating dinner. . Should sleep well tonight, it's raining. And I'm tired lol

 

Wouldn't that be sweet! And your right. . They were all drop and hooks. .I failed to realize that.

 

I did my drop and hook in Ardmore and headed north. .

We had storms in Ardmore (lightning struck a light pole at flying j and everything went dark for about 15 min) but while passing thru Paul's Valley. . They got hammered. . Trees broken, And uprooted..Loves was without power. .

I did my drop and hook (again) in KC.. and headed to the yard. .I figured there wouldn't be a dispatch until Monday morning So I drove out to Belton for a BBQ dinner with my mom. .good times

I was ALMOST back to the yard when Candida called me with a pre plan. . Load KC at 8am (live load) And delivering Tuesday morning 8am in Decatur Alabama. .640 miles. . Were trucking now!

 

Delivered in Decatur and had received a pre plan. . Everybody that drives for ACT knows where I'm loading and where its going. Lol . Decatur to Munster IN.

Live load and a drop hook as soon as I can get it there.

I won't be there until tomorrow morning. . I'm running on recap and only have 5 1/2 hours available. 518 loaded miles.

I'll probably go from there to KC. . Home time this weekend. .I don't really need the time off other than needing a restart. . And a trip to the DMV. ugh!
