Will you continue posting in TEAM KLINGON, even with the new company?

Many of us enjoy and learn from your thread.

Ok... I will have to say the shop guys here at the Syracuse terminal are OK... And it takes a lot for me to say that! We will see at the end of this, but right now they are impressing me.

I applied with Stevens Transport a few weeks back, but ultimately I was declined, my best guess is because I'm not 22 yet, despite my birthday will be around the time I finish training out of Denver. So, I applied with Central and I got a call the same day. As long as everything is still going to plan, I should be heading to their school on the 16th. But, we'll see about that. Either way, if I'm hired on, I'll be out of the Denver terminal. Anyone know much about that terminal, where I could definitely expect to go from there? How the employees are, ect? Thank you in advanced!

Best Advice I can give you...Don't believe a word the recruiter told you. This company is complete ####. You will make them a ton of money and they will show their thanks by giving you just enough money to eat until your next payday. Hope you don't have any bills you are counting on paying because half the time you'll be sitting on a loading dock or broken down and the shop guys don't really care about getting you back up and running in a timely manner.

That's generally what I have been hearing. Thankfully I'm single with no real responsibilities, I can afford to sit around for at least a little bit. I don't plan on staying with them for too much longer after my contract is up with them.

Twizted is pretty much spot on, you'll go negative if you don't manage each half a penny well, and you'll completely go in debt if you do their hoax of a lease program. Just do your time and move on, that's what I'm doing.

I definitely understand. I take it all with a grain of salt, I might enjoy my 13 or so months with them, but it won't be too much longer than that. There's a few other companies that really appeal to me.
