Just got my CDL on Saturday and I am interested in this company. Can anyone tell me what their physical test consists of?

Congratulations. Best of luck to you.

Thanks. What about the ability test, what is involved with that?

It doesn't say, but just to give you an idea, the ability test I had to take was step up and down from a 1 foot platform for 1 min straight, lift 40 lbs 10X, hold 40 lbs in front of you at shoulder level for 20 seconds; carry 40 lbs 50 feet, and do 12 squats; it was pretty basic...Last edited: Jun 9, 2014

There is a video of the agility test on the website. I can't tell you what it consists of as they came up with that after I started working here. I imagine it's similar to what the poster above me mentioned. I know they measure your heart rate during the exercises and it cannot exceed a certain level.

hope this helps...

This was very helpful. Now I can do these everyday to where I am not out of breath.

I just called the Superior Carriers recruiter and inquired about approved CDL-A schools. I was told the only approved school for hiring a new guy was from West Pacific Truck School in Stockton, Ca. If you don't go to an approved school, than you need 18 months otr with another company. What have current employees done? I was hoping to do a school in Vegas or Phoenix and getting on with the Parker, Az terminal as its 30 miles from where I live.

Call the Parker terminal directly and talk to the tm. I'm not sure who the "recruiting" number connects you with because afaik we don't have any recruiters. You may well have talked to Scruffy the janitor.
.RYAN Thanks this.
