    i don't think I'd call them minor .. 3500 a year for Cargo & General Liability Insurance is way low .. I've heard guys paying over 9k or more ..

    If everyone is all the sudden pissed off with SNI choice here is a suggestion ( only a suggestion )

    1. Turn the truck in
    2. Ask LS or SNI Logistics to Finance you one ( they won't )
    3. Ask SNF ( finance ) if you can just take the truck and get your own Authority ?
    4. Buy your own truck and go be billy big rigger and give it a shot .
    5. Remember why your buying that insurance you may want to consider , what your gonna pull that freight with ? Might need a trailer .

    You are simply not going to get FULL RATES when we are not accepting the liability in terms if Cargo and General Liability outside of your deductible with the company . SNI gives you a huge ballon to fall under or should I say shelter .. You have to understand the risk vs reward before you would do this . In the end you may be surprised just how much better off your not by doing so and how well you actually have it .

    Last week or 2 everyone was cool as a cucumber and now cause we found a SNL rate were all downing what everyone was praising last week and the week before , and before .. Etc ..

    No one seems to factor in the fact that .. Those rates are for REAL OWN AUTHORITY CARRIERS WITH TRAILERS AND ASSETS ... Not the guy with a truck. And some physical damage insurance and a bobtail policy ..

    Sorry. I forgot to figure in cargo ins. But even at 9k it works out to around 7 cents/mi. Not a big number in my book.

    Sorry Jar-Head, did not mean to imply I was pissed off with SNI, I am not, just pointing out the good and bad that I have come across while here.

    Thought I was keeping with the spirit of being honest as to what we see....

    not mad at all .. I was just trying to convey the difference between the 2 SNI and SNL and why the rates differ from each entity

    I guess I got a little hot headed in the fact that I thought it was an attack on SNI vs SNL which is two sep organizations .

    I am not pissed or even mad if you know me I dont get either usually. I understand the benefit I have as a choice O/O I am like any other company Its a business and I understand costs thats why I broke it down like I did. Sure theres things I think SNI can do better but I am happy here.
