I understand your gripe on service. They wanted me to drive 15 miles from one side of Joplin to the other. No sir. I got two trailer wheels that are slinging grease. I pass one bear and im out of service with a ticket and youre gonna pay to have it fixed on the side of the road.

Upon closer inspection of the tire manufactures on this trailer, I have: 2 Michelin, 3 Continentals, 1 Dunlop, 1 Bridgestone, and 1 Hanhook??
Now I have a Yokohama. That makes 6 different makes in 8 spots. WTF. Oh, and if we don't do Bridgestone, why was there one already on there?tallinthesaddle4life Thanks this. -
Ancient tire is ancient?
-
Don't know, but it actually is the newest looking tire on the trailer and these tires probably don't last more than 50,0000 miles considering how badly out of alignment they are
-
Yeah, but that doesn't mean a lot.
50k miles might take a lot longer to get racked up on an older trailer if it spends a lot of time sitting around because nobody wants to hook up to it. -
Glad I'm not the only one complaining about the breakdown is handling tires now! I kinda miss calling the yoke number for service.
Double point all summer long at PFJ. Well sort of, we get an extra point on top of the 5 we already get. -
We're still getting 5 points/gallon

Talk about wasting a day. Got a three stop pickup in cali with drops in bama and sc. P/u's were supposed to be tulare, portersville, and oxnard. Got the go ahead to grab oxnard first since I was closer to it and I'd have to backtrack to do it in the dispatch order. Oxnard went smooth. Traffic was perfect for smooth sailing to tulare.
First problem... pulp temps approaching 70 degrees. Be back tomorrow. Second problem at portersville... same high pulp temps.
Sigh -
What's up with planners lately? Every load I have gotten for the past couple of weeks has required me to run 65mph for 10hrs to make on time delivery. I don't mind running hard when needed but I hate having to sit waiting for hours to recap.

Ditto, 700+ mile days are exhausting.
