Heyl didn't need me to cover any loads Wednesday. We'll see if they have something for Thursday. Perhaps this is the slow down I have been told of. Normally, a day or two before getting home they want to know when I want to come back out. No such message this time.

Heyl drivers I have run into thru the years and pumped for information have always told me things tend to get a little slow in the summer. That was typically the only negative I would hear.

For the 2nd day in a row, I have called in and been told to call back the next afternoon cause there is no freight for me to pull. In my previous 3 yrs of driving, it had never happened trying to come out of Florida. Anyone else finding it slow right now?

I'm not with heyl obviously but my load out the house Sunday really sucked. Short hop down to Vero beach and then a hefty deadhead back north. Usually we just shoot straight north out of FL after home time

450, 315, 250, 192 with 2 pick ups -
I pushing them for miles out west if I don't run more
West I'm leaving them shortly I won't put up with
Garbadge miles -
Get your terminal manager involved. Probably won't get you runs West but should get you runs longer than you are currently getting. Dude, Crete doesn't have much western freight.
